Characters

This is an introduction to the Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 ruleset. The only book that will be the players will have access to at this time is the Player's Handbook. So, only the classes and races from the Player's Handbook will be allowed. Also, multi-classing will be limited until after your character has received level 10. If any person is caught mid-maxing your character, then they will receive a harsh lecture about how mid-maxing ruins the RP experience. Character starting HP will be max single die for your character. Everyone starts at level 1. 400gp to start your equipment list with. If you don't have it on your character, you don't have it period.

Also, since the audio and video of the game table is not at full capacity, we will be using Ventrilo for all audio communication at this time.

 

Homebrew campaign

Starting Classes and Races are start out of the Player's Handbook.

Starting sets are using the 3d6 system. Roll 7 times, the lowest number is removed. If the starting stats are too good, the DM reserves the right to alter the starting stats to level the playing field.

You start out in the Inn of the Flying Knives, a small tavern in the city of Aberdeen. What brought you to the city is of your own measure, but once you are here, you find out there is a reason for your arrival. Though you might not know what is going on, you soon find out that the Lord Marshall of the city has specifically requested an audience with you. As you sit and listen to the Lord Marshall, it's crystal clear that two things are apparent:

1) The Lord Marshall is being extremely vague as to your reward for the item he is wanting you to retrieve.

2) There is some sort of divine hand shaping the events that are about to take place.

The Lord Marshall informs you before you head off, "Kind travelers, if you retrieve the item and do not return it to me, you will be hunted and killed for treason against the state. If you do not return, make sure it's because you were killed. You have 1 week to complete this request. If you do not complete it in time, hide for you will be arrested and hung for treason against the state."

It's clear, someone wants you dead.
