Premise
A Science Fiction setting where everyone plays members of the elite 3:16th Expeditionary Force. This military force left Terra over 10,000 strong many years ago with an explicit mission.
Their whole mission was to ï¬ght, and defeat, everything in the Universe that they could ï¬nd. Alien civilizations, intelligences and life of any kind were to be wiped out to protect the future safety of the people home on Terra. Threats were to be neutralized at their source.
Terra is a prosperous place. No one works any more and there is no disease, no hate and no crime or trouble. People are sterile and have to seek the permission of the Terran Council to have children.Successful applicants have medical modiï¬cations made that allow for procreation and the children themselves are sterilized at the onset of puberty. They leave childish things behind them and become a citizen of Terra. Life expectancy is now essentially a meaningless statistic. How long do you want to live for? You only leave this life when you want to, and who would want to?
Style of play
Terra’s plan is to kill every living thing in the Universe to protect the home world. See where your tour of duty in the 3:16th Expeditionary Force takes you and your friends. Revel in the kill-happy machismo and enjoy a campaign of Carnage Amongst The Stars.

Trooper Hicks is a pregen template character you can pull down and register with. We'll modify them at the game table.
A family emergency has come up, and I have to postpone tonight. Sorry everyone.
Thanks for the awesome play today, everyone! I'll see how soon I can schedule another session, but will probably fall on another Sunday afternoon.
Just a quick note on a rule that I unintentionally fudged.
When the aliens roll a success and score kills on the Troopers, only those that either failed or rolled equal to or less than them take a hit. Those that succeeded with a higher number take no damage.
Ok, so looks like between Friday night's game, Saturday with the family, and making beer on Sunday, my weekend is booked. How about that first Sunday in March, the 6th?
Good session yesterday, thanks for coming guys! We had a short session and managed to clear the mission in a couple hours. The aliens in this mission were a bit less defined, partly because I had put less pre-time into them, and partly because they were sort of a back-drop to the mission itself. But now that the insubordinate smart-bomb has been returned to to the 3:16 for court martial, it's likely that the troopers will need to re-visit planet Picasso and eradicate the amphibian menace.
Keep an eye on the game profile for update on the next planned session.
Good session tonight everyone! I want to let everyone know that we popped a gamers cherry tonight; his first RPG experience, and on Infrno at that! Congratulations, Jeff!
So after a short discussion tonight, we're going to run this line for another week or two, then change gears to the "So Few" extension of 3:16. "So Few" is the space-fighter combat set using the same setting and mechanics as the orginal. Players take the role of combat Terran Navy pilots battling the alien menaces in spiral arms, black holes, and exotic nebulas along side the 3:16 Terran Expeditionary Force as they burn their way through the universe.
Session five went awesome, even with just two Troopers on hand. We had a great time with very little prep involved. I am actually disappointed that as GM, I haven't managed to kill any Troopers in combat yet, although I was damn near to ghosting Trooper Harp last week. I was a hairs breath away from a fumbled grenade towards success, but trooper carnage was snapped from me at the last moment! NOOOOO!
Still, the aliens continue to get deadlier as the Troopers get stronger, and as ranks rise, I will get additional threat tokens per-player to throw out as well.
I'm posting a list of assets to the table, as it seems most people forget they have certain moves at their disposal, such as a post-success range movement, or taking a fail to cancel any following successes.
Corporal Chiri did not recover from the injuries sustained in the assault on Planet Klimt, and has been placed in long-term storage until his return to Terra can be arranged, along with the 1,482 other troopers waiting for a ride home.
Put your mitts together for Corporal Harp, the new NCOSIC of Klondikes Kodiaks!
We are wrapping up this particular game thread. We will all round up on the next scheduled date, and Muldoon will take the GM seat for the last session.
I've closed the game for registration and cleaned out any players/characters that never made a showing. Good housekeeping.
