    About this game

This game is being run for Aethercon. You should sign up here as well at Aethercon b/c if it fills up and then some the people who signed up at Aethercon get first dibs (as of 11/10/2013 3 players have signed up at the Aethercon site). If we have not gamed together PM me your handle for Skype, too, please.

Paul Fricker (author of Gatsby & The Great Race, My Little Sister and co-author of the forthcoming 7th edition Call of Cthulhu rules) has produced a Call of Cthulhu scenario to help raise money for Cancer Research.

Dockside Dogs is a modern-day scenario for 3-6 players

This was supposed to be a simple heist.

A group of well-dressed criminals arrive at a warehouse to rendezvous after pulling off an extraordinary crime. They know each other only by their pseudonyms - Mister Black, Mister Red, Mister Green, Mister Purple, Mister Beige, Mister Silver, Mister Grey.

The plan is simply to sit tight until midnight when someone will arrive to ferry them - and the loot - across the bay to make a final delivery to the boss. Sounds easy, right?

But things take a turn for the weird; strange things happen in and around the warehouse. Things which make the criminals doubt the allegiances of the compatriots, their own sanity, and ultimately the very nature of reality.

It is going to be a long wait for the ferryman.

KEEPER NOTE: while it isn't required it helps if you have seen “Reservoir Dogs”. Also, this is likely going to be finished in three hours but I put it to four in case players want to "milk" their scenes.

We will be using Skype for our voice and the board for pics and rolling and such.

The game will use all types of dice with an emphasis on percentile.

NOTE: this game may have player vs player scenes so be okay with it.

COC is a game that focuses on the mood and story and not so much the mechanics. It is easy to pick up, not crunchy. It is a game that tends to be one of the group discovering a horror and either dying or being haunted by that moment.

As a result this probably isn't the game for players who want to be complete badasses. ;)

I shall be guiding beginners along so they get a feel for this classic game.
