Delta Green - Death and Taxis
GM:
Ean Moody
A short Call of Cthulhu/Delta Green scenario for people at the RPPR forums. I expect this to run two 3 hour sessions. Who knows? if it ends up being tons of fun, it may become an ongoing game. Set in the modern era, in Boston, Massachusets. I'll be running it in One-Roll Engine, since I'm familiar with it and it seems to be a popular one on the RPPR forums. (It also allows for hit locations, which I am a fan of for Cthulhu-Type games) This is also a test of sorts for the Infrno system, so no promises as...

Imagine low-powered, noir-flavored supers in Lovecraft Country... Humphrey Bogart, James Cagney, and Buster Keaton as Savage Men of Bronze and Mystery combating evil spawn from beyond space and time. Casablanca meets Indiana Jones and Watchmen, with tentacles. A grim, romantic epic set against the war to end all wars, featuring conflicted heroes of a bygone era of hope and prosperity battling forces beyond reckoning, not only for their souls but for those of all mankind... Inspirations Everything listed in Adventure!’s Inspiration and Resources section, starting on page 265, falls squarely in our ball park. In particular, The Phantom, The Shadow, and the...

1st Impressions: A Peculiar Pentad (for CoC)
I picked up Super Genius Games' A Peculiar Pentad (for Call of Cthulhu - licensed, oh yes) about a month or so ago. At $15, it was something of a convenience buy, if not an opportunity one. Weird CoC stuff has a way of going OOP fast (so says my copy...

Not a fan of crunching or minmaxing, I prefer games that are heavy on the story and character-driven, though that doesn't mean I'm opposed to combat! There are quite a few systems I love, including DnD (I'm familiar with 3.5), Call of Cthulhu, Changeling: The Lost, Geist: The Sin-Eaters, Promethean: The Created, Scion, Nobilis, JAGS Wonderland, Don't Rest Your Head,...

Another lost soul who spends way too much time thinking of worlds that could be instead of the world that is. I prefer to GM over playing, but like to meet new gamers as a player. Favorite systems: Original D&D (TSR), Pathfinder (Paizo), Star Wars Saga Edition (WoTC), Marvel Superheroes (TSR). Favorite settings: Mystara, Rifts Earth, Farscape Uncharted Territories, Mass Effect...

I live in London, UK and I want to play indie / story RPGs with other like-minded people. I despise powergaming and ultra-crunchy rules, preferring strong storytelling and character development. Games I'd like to play include: 44 A Game Of Automatic Fear, Annalise, Apocalypse World, Archipelago, Call of Cthulhu,Cthulhu Dark, Danger Patrol, Dead of Night, Diaspora, Dogs in the Vineyard, Don't...
I'll play most any system, but when I GM I prefer GURPS. I have experience GMing Call of Cthulhu, Aliens, and Banestorm, and there are other settings I'd like to get around to, like Castle Falkenstein and Bunnies and Burrows. I've played, well, lots of stuff. I like action in an RPG, but I like problem solving and roleplaying too....

-Currently running Call of Cthluhu/Delta Green and playing Pathfinder. -Interested in Dread, Whispering Vault, All Flesh Must Be Eaten, Monsters and Other Childish Things, anything with Cthulhu slapped on it, and occasional forays into sci-fi/cyberpunk, fantasy, and superhero games.
