The system we are using is the ICONS roleplaying game, with randomly generated characters according to the book (although, if you ARE going to join, I added a rule that you can swap about your 'abilities' rolls however much you like). I like gritty fantasy adventure. RP is ok, but I don't need to spend half a night's session playing out the shopping trip to the market. I'm a semi-old-fashioned table-top gamer. I enjoy role playing, as well as dice rolling. I tend to bring my interest in computers, cars, engineering, physics, and technology into my games in a period-appropriate manner. When I run a game, I tend more toward whimsy and "loose" interpretations of the rules. I'm definitely not a rules-monger! If I feel it's entertaining...
