About

My favorite games are Vampire the Masquerade, Marvel Heroic and Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, but in my time I've played many others besides those - my gaming experience runs the gamut from Runequest to Smallville and from Twilight: 2000 to Tales from Floating Vagabond - and I'm always interested in trying out new ones. I discovered role-playing games in my early teen years in the late 80′s through the Finnish translation of the Dungeons & Dragons red box and have been an avid roleplayer and gamemaster ever since. Besides actual tabletop gaming, I have helped to put together the Conklaavi role-playing convention a couple of times, submitted material to the PowerForce Project superhero role-playing setting and been one of the main organizers in the anime-style high-school live-action role-playing game Sakura no yume, as well as taking part in a couple of larps as a player. I also write a role-playing blog called From My Gaming Table.

  • The lurks had the Storm Knight hopelessly pinned. Hanging onto every conceivable part of the body, more than a dozen of the pallid creatures were dragging the reality warrior down. For a good while the valiant soul had managed to hold the shrieking hobgoblins at bay. But eventually there had...

  • The heavy-set man regarded himself in the mirror. His body was a jigsaw puzzle of mismatched flesh. Adjoining the pallid face of a Victorian gentleman were a neck and torso of coarse sunbeaten skin. Around his right arm coiled a dragon, it’s head disappearing abruptly into a patch of lily-white...

  • Var’ath sat lost in thought in the cockpit of Lost Fortune. The other members of the crew were fast asleep as the freighter was drawing nearer to Kluistar, hyperspace streaks zooming past it like arrows made of stars. But sleep had not come to Var’ath and so he had wandered...

  • Lit by countless stars, Naboo’s night sky was a shining tapestry of constellations and nebulae. On a grassy hillock squatted a portly Twi’lek wearing an ostentatious dressing gown, flanked by his two small children. His fingers were busy pointing at the various incandescent bodies, each one marking a step in...

  • (Please note that this is a work in progress to be completed at a later time.)   It was in my childhood that my eyes opened to the Invisible World. In the vicinity of my papi’s farmstead was a forest my parents had ardently forbidden me to wander to. Needless...

Thanks for signing up for my Monster of the Week game. I'll try not to pester you with too many questions about Finland. I've been an admirer since i fell for a Finnish exchange student in high school a long long time ago. See you tonight.
