I really love reading. I could get lost for hours exploring a good book. I enjoy gaming for some of the same reasons, being introduced to whole new worlds and how others see our own world. Gaming allows some things reading never could though, shared story telling. When you read a book you experience a story, but when you game you make the story your own. When you have a good group you can each contribute and make a truly awesome story. Like fighting super apes to save Orville Redenbacher or battling steam powered automatons in the Old West.
