Burning Wheel Headquarters is a small press roleplaying game publisher rooted in New York City. Since 2002, BWHQ has published: Burning Wheel (classic), The Monster Burner, Under a Serpent Sun, Burning Wheel (revised), Jihad, Burning Empires, The Blossoms Are Falling and The Magic Burner. The author of these games, Luke Crane, also worked with Archaia Studios Press and David Petersen to create the Mouse Guard RPG. He is currently working with Jared Sorensen (Lacuna, Inspectres) to publish their next generation, transhumanist sciencefiction RPG, FreeMarket. BWHQ's games and ideas are critically acclaimed and often controversial. Ken Hite's one of our biggest fans and has lauded nearly all of our publications. Our books have won numerous Indie RPG Awards. Burning Empires and Mouse Guard have both won Origins awards.
