Black Scarab walked from the kissing booth where he had just paid $300 to kiss Supergirl... the Fly's girlfriend!  Adam, chuckled to himself and thought, "The Fly's a good guy, but guys like him need to be brought down a peg now and again.  I can't wait to rib him about it later!"

Adam, hurried back to his duty of flying kids over the carnival to do his part in raising money.  He thought himself very clever.  He took money from those who preyed on innocents, then gave it back to the victims of society, and donated it to those who protected it.  This was better than any scam he ran as a kid on the streets of Gotham!

As Adam flew down to take the next kid up he noticed a group of kids looking at their phones, laughing, and pointing at him.  As he approached one of the kids with a "Fly" t-shirt ran up.

"Dude, you are so gonna get it!"

"What are you talking about kid?"

"The Fly just posted on Twitti that he's gonna kick your ass!" yelled the fanboy.

"Ah, he's just kidding around.  Kissing his girlfriend was just a joke and now he's getting back at me." replied Adam

"No way man, you were a jerk, now he's gonna make you pay!"

Adam, growing somewhat annoyed, replied "I already paid.  Three hundred bucks!  And it all went to keep his sorry ass outta jail.  Now you wanna ride around the park or what?!?"

The startled boys quickly ran off as Adam silently cursed himself for losing his temper.  Afterall it was just a joke!  Can't the Fly take a joke?  The guy acts like he's in highschool!

Adam regained his composure and thought to himself, "come on, he can't really be pissed.  He's just trying to get back at you.  Good one Fly, better luck next time!"
