Session Two Recap
As Crowtalker stood guard on the outside of the Murkingwater family vault, Fiona and Oscari used the clockwork key to open the door into the tomb. Creeping into the darkened crypt, they evaded some traps, broke through a wall, and then located the coffin of Tellamina, Lord Murkingwater's beloved young cousin. Opening the lid, they discovered to their horror that the young woman had been buried alive, dying of suffocation while trapped within her stone casket. Taking the necklace from her corpse, they quickly departed the vault and returned to the exterior of the manor grounds.
Sending a messenger to Lord Bleakwell, the prisoners arranged for a meeting with their patron in an abandoned tenement at Crooked End. Bleakwell arrived by carriage with two bodyguards and showed the Ravens the pardons he had promised. They passed the necklace to him and prepared to take their leave when a ghostly figure appeared.
The phantom image of Tellamina herself bemoaned the loss of her necklace and advanced on the screaming Lord. Fiona and Oscari ran for the exit but were cut off by Nat Wick, captain of the Black Border mercenary company. Holding them at gunpoint, Wick demanded the necklace in exchange for their lives. The two brawled with Wick and some of his cohorts as Tellamina's ghost approached. Fiona was able to kill Wick with a blow of her machete and then smashed through a weakened tenement wall to open up a new exit. She and the duelist fled from the building as the screams of Wick and Bleakwell's hirelings indicated they had also met their fate at Tellamina's vengeful hands.
Equipped with their pardons from the Philanthropist, the prisoners parted ways and disappeared into the Cromlech streets...
