  • About

I have been writing off and on since middle school and I have been in role-playing games since my sophmore year in high school. Eventually, my two hobbies would collide and my game-mastering is the result. My style of gming relies heavily on characters and plot, and not so much on action. I wish I could do combat well, but I'm always disappointed when I try incooperate more of it in my game.

The games I like to run play to my strengths so I am fan of more cooperative storytelling and less so of strategic combat simulations. The former are Don't Rest Your Head and White Wolf (old WoD). However, I tend to develop my story and characters first so I look for a systems that best fits the mood, setting, and power's set I am going for. Just to be contrary to myself I also love to run Feng Shui, an action-movie based game, but it is so stupidly fun that I don't mind that it is more about blowing shit up and less about the villian's motivation.

In January, I ran my White Chapel Fiend game and I may run it again in the future when the maximum players allowed in the a game table goes from 4 to 6. Right now, I am debating about running a Feng Shui game on Infrno, but that would be a difficult feat to pull off effectively.

  • Ran my first game on Infrno. It went fairly well. I am amused that I ran it the very day they made a few changes to the Game listings and Game pages. There was a few alarming minutes as my players couldn't figure out how to log in. However, most...

    First time running on INFRNO

The game went fairly well because of my darling fiance who volunteered to bolster our character roster and to Matt Steele and Basil who gave their best effort as players to enjoy my game. I'm glad to report that we had a great time. I wish I could of had...

Played my first game on Infrno. It was the Star Wars game by Bob Arens. A good humorous take on the events of the first movie through the eyes of the lowest rung of the Imperial Employee ladder. When I first logged on, I was to confrontrd by the dreaded echo issue that plagues all group chat at some point, no matter the host; however, when I realized that three of the group members where in the same room, I wound up muting two of the three mics and everything worked fine from then on out. The group was polite as far as not talking over each other and we managed to communicate fairly well.In addition, two of the members in the game where part of the Infrno team and it was nice to chat with them about their plans for the site. They are certainly receptive and are eager to build a grand gaming experience out of Infrno.
